Synology DS1515+ Intel Atom C2000 bug fix

Mee too: I was afflicted by he Intel Atom C2000 bug.

My Synology DS1515+ was in a bad shape with orange led stable and blue led blinking. No green light in the horizon.

This was an excuse for buying a welding machine and a pack of 10 1/4W 100 OHM:

You can then proceed following any guide online and shape the transistor his way:

It should be placed between the pin number 1 and the pin number 6: it will fit nicely

This was my first welding so I decided to weld in the opposite side: (I could have done better… I think I toasted the motherboard a bit)

And this is the result in the opposite side:

So don’t be scared, buy a welding machine and a pack of 10 1/4W 100 OHM and fix your Synology.
